As a wildlife park, we put sustainability at the heart of everything we do. Much of the world’s resources are finite, and it is becoming more and more important that we look to sustainable methods in order to preserve our planet, not only for it’s animals but for future generations.

Here at Peak Wildlife Park, we’re focused on providing a sustainable experience from the moment you enter the park.

  • We use green technologies wherever possible

  • Compost nearly all of our animal waste

  • Recycle cardboard and plastics

  • In 2017 we removed all unsustainable palm oil from our supply chain

We work closely with suppliers to make sure goods are sourced both ethically and sustainably. Whether that’s our fairer than fair trade coffee, or the cups you drink it in that are made of plant matter and are 100% compostable (read more); careful consideration is given to every product sold at the park.

These changes are just the beginning, and over the coming years we’ll be working hard to further decrease the park’s environmental impact through various green initiatives.
