WALK WITH LEMURS

Ever wanted...

...to come face to face with some of the world’s most endangered mammals? Well now you can with our Madagascar inspired ‘Lemur Heights’ walkthrough. Our lemur family comprises of some of the most beautiful and elusive species found across the width and breadth of Madagascar.

Among the species in the walkthrough we have the striking Black and White Ruffed Lemurs; found in the rainforests on the eastern side of Madagascar, these large lemurs spend most of their time high up in the canopy eating fruit, flowers and nectar. Watch out…these guys may startle you with their powerful alarm calls, which can be heard from up to 1km away.

As well as our booming ruffed lemurs we also have a small family of Ring-tailed Lemurs. These guys are amongst the most iconic of Madagascar's rich and diverse fauna, and are easily identified by their long black and white striped tails. Unfortunately these stunning lemurs are currently listed as endangered by the IUCN Red List due to hunting, habitat destruction and the exotic pet trade.
